How to Dress as a Graduation Ceremony or Party Guest

Graduation ceremonies and parties are of course a wonderful celebration. Not only do they mark an entirely new chapter of life, it’s a ceremony that recognizes hard work and achievements. It’s a special occasion, so it’s a good idea to put a little extra effort into your look. Here are a few things to keep in mind on the day of the ceremony…

Choose a cute and colorful dress. Opt for a style that will look appropriate in front of friends and family alike. With the weather not quite cooperating as we would like, keep in mind that  you can always layer on a light cardigan, blazer or jacket.

Wear comfortable shoes. Being comfortable on graduation day is a must. You will be walking, standing, sitting, posing and more! We suggest finding a pair of sandals or wedges that are comfortable to walk in. They will give you support and make your look more dressed-up. Find a pair that is classy, cute and above all, comfortable!

Stick to simply chic jewelry, downsize for Spring and Summer.  After seasons of larger-than-life statement baubles, start downsizing for the spring and summer, with daintier things, layers of thin necklaces, and skinny cuffs. Though tiny in size, these accessories make just as much of an impact.

We hope these tips have helped to prepare you for graduation day! As long as you dress to flatter your figure and channel your true personal style, we’re sure you will look great. Remember, we are always here to help!
